Avid boaters, obsessed with keeping their investments meticulously clean and protected, Drift’s founders were always left with a feeling that the products they invested in rarely lived up to the hype and marketing claims on the bottle. After years of frustration — the water spots, the grime, the harsh chemicals, and endless hours scrubbing — they decided to do something about it. They were tired of relabeled automotive and household cleaners that didn’t deliver, and thought there had to be a better way.
Boaters needed something better — smarter, faster, and tougher. They needed a system that could keep up with real-world boating and the demands of life on the water.

Originally mixing for friends, family and a small group of lake neighbors, the duo teamed up with a Ph.D chemist to build what they wished existed.
